Lawrence's Bio
Lawrence Shafer was an Eligibility Interviewer with the State of Arizona, the majority of which was with AHCCCS and the ALTCS program. In 1999, Mr. Shafer Founded Arizona Medicaid Planning Services, LLC allowing him to work directly with families to plan for and transition from private pay to public benefits under the State’s long term care system known as A.L.T.C.S. While the State is currently denying cases at a rate of about 80%, Mr. Shafer has maintained an overall approval rate of over 93% on first-time applications. Mr. Shafer’s company, Arizona Medicaid Planning Services, LLC is here to help through this difficult process.
While not quite a native Larry grew up here in Arizona enjoying all the outdoor activities this great climate has to offer. He still enjoys camping, fishing, and swimming and has tried to pass that love for the outdoors to his two children.
