After more than 25 years in estate law, I can tell you this — estate planning isn’t about paperwork. It’s about people. Every family I’ve worked with has a story. Some are preparing for retirement, others are protecting a spouse or child, and some are simply making sure what they’ve built ends up in the right hands. The law provides the framework, but the heart of the work is making sure those wishes are honored — clearly, fairly, and without burden to the ones left behind. That’s why I don’t see estate planning as a transaction. I see it as a long-term responsibility.
A profession built on trust
Since 1994, my mission has been to help people protect what matters most. My path to law wasn’t traditional — I worked as a lineman for the Newark, New Jersey Fire Department while earning my degrees from Seton Hall University and Seton Hall Law School.
That experience taught me a lot about service, discipline, and calm under pressure. When someone hands you their life story — their fears, their finances, their family, you owe them your best. Estate planning isn’t just drafting documents; it’s understanding people’s values and making sure those values are preserved when they’re no longer here to speak for themselves.
Experience that grows with time
For more than two decades, I’ve built a practice around listening first and acting second. Laws change, but the principles of honesty and clarity never do. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping countless families — each with unique goals and concerns — create plans that protect them through every stage of life. Today, as part of Prime Wealth Advisors, I collaborate closely with financial and tax professionals like Orion Willis, ChFC®, CLU®, and Cliff Farmer to ensure that estate, tax, and financial strategies work together seamlessly. A plan isn’t complete until all the pieces fit.
Standards that don’t take a day off
I’m a proud member of both the WealthCounsel Arizona Forum and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). These organizations keep me accountable to the highest standards of legal ethics and continuing education, because protecting families requires more than legal knowledge. It requires
compassion, attention, and constant improvement. Just like tax codes and financial markets, estate law evolves. I study, I adapt, and I make sure my clients always have the most current guidance possible.
Why this matters
Because estate planning isn’t about documents — it’s about dignity. When something happens, your family shouldn’t have to guess what you wanted. They should know. At Prime Wealth Advisors, I work every day to ensure our clients have that peace of mind. Together with Orion Willis and Cliff Farmer, I help people make the kind of decisions that protect not only their assets, but their legacy.
Because it’s not an exact science — it’s a promise.
